Water Conservation – Rural Area

Problem: Rain water is not harvested and rural area faces the problem of farming, sanitation & living.

Solution: Scientific rain water harvesting and storage by desilting of the existing ponds.

Objective: To make villages self-sufficient.

Advantage:

Desilting is a process by which the naturally accumulated silt is removed from the Pond.
This increases the Ponds water holding capacity and enhancing the water holding capacity of the Ponds.
Desilting also provides us with the accumulated silt that can be used in the agricultural fields, owing to the rich minerals present in it.
MGS has been working towards this mission in the villages at Wada.
